To Set Up Connections to Use Public DNS (Domain Name System)

You must complete this procedure if the Secure Connection feature is enabled during the ConstructSim Planner installation.

  1. Open eB System Management Console (Start > All Programs > Bentley > eB > eB System Management Console).
  2. In the Explorer pane, under the Servers node, navigate to your_server > Communities > your_community. A diagram displays in the right pane, showing the connection between the client and the server.
  3. Double-click the arrow that connects the client and server. The Connection Properties dialog opens.
  4. In the Connection Info field, remove the name of the default machine and enter the public DNS.
  5. Click OK in the Connections Properties dialog.

To Turn on the Work Queue Service to Run on the Data Processing Server

  2. Configure the work queue service for the data processing server.
